There are several ways to create content for your signs. One of the easiest ways to create content for your signs is to start with the Content Wizard. You can access the Content Wizard by clicking on the Content Wizard button located at the right hand side of your My Slides page, or the My Slides section in your dashboard.

Once you click on the Content Wizard button, 3 options will appear for you to choose how you would like to create your content/slides that you will eventually send out to your signs via a schedule. The 3 options are outlined below:

1) Start from a blank canvas to create a slide

This option allows you to start with a blank page in the MangoSigns slide editor, which you can add your own text, images, shapes or any of the App integrations available in the slide editor. Once you are finished modifying the blank template, you can click Save up top which will allow you to name your slide and set a default duration (how long you would like the slide to play for when added to a schedule). The saved slide should now show up in your My Slides page and you can schedule it out to your signs.

2) Upload your images, videos, documents as slide, or use Canva

This option allows you to upload your own images, video or documents and they will automatically be converted to slides in your MangoSigns account that you can then schedule out to your signs. Or, you can create or import designs from Canva to be saved to your MangoSigns account. When you click on this option, you can select the orientation of the screens you will be creating content for then you can choose your files to upload, or click Design on Canva to open the Canva editor.

If you click on the Photos, Videos, or Documents button, you can upload your own files which will be automatically converted and saved as individual slides in your account. You can upload them from your own device, or from an online account listed on the left hand side of the file uploader.

Videos - If you are uploading videos, we currently support .mp4 formats. When you upload a video, it can take a few minutes for it to be optimized/converted to a slide. While the video is converting you should see an animated gear icon until it finishes processing.

Documents - You can upload Powerpoint, Word, Excel, PDF, Adobe Illustrator, PhotoShop, Text, or Open Office documents to be converted to slides in your MangoSigns account. When you upload a document, it can take a few minutes for it to be optimized/converted to a slide. While the document is converting you should see an animated gear icon until it finishes processing.

Canva - If you choose the Design on Canva option, the Canva editor will open, allowing you to search through thousands of templates available in Canva. If you already have a Canva account, you can click the Publish button to log into it and have access to design that you may have already created. More information the Canva App can be found here.

3) Start with a template, customize it or add Apps

This option is a shortcut to our Templates page, which gives you access to a ton of pre-made templates to start from, lots of which are animated. You can browse through one of several categories or search for one using our keyword search.

Once you find a template that is close to the message you would like to deliver, you can click on the template and click Preview, or the play icon to see what it will look like prior to editing it with animations and all. To edit the template, you can click on the it and click Customize and the template will open in the MangoSigns slide editor.

After you have created a Slide, it should show up in the My Slides page in your MangoSigns dashboard and you are ready to move on to Scheduling your slide to your signs.
