2020 has been a roller coaster of a year, we have had to evaluate what we were working on a few times to ensure we delivered features that helped you and your customers stay safe and communicate effectively during these times.

You can now use Canva to create and edit content in the MangoSigns platform using the Content Wizard, or directly in the MangoSigns Slide Editor.

Canva through the Content Wizard

To create content for your signs through Canva, you can choose the middle option under the Content Wizard.

Once you click Design on Canva, you will see the Canva editor appear, allowing you to create content within Canva to save as a slide. You can search through thousands of available templates on the left hand side, or if you already have a Canva account, once you log in, you can see your folders and access your own designs.

Canva through the MangoSigns Slide Editor

You can also use Canva to create and edit content right through the MangoSign Editor. This can be useful if you would like to use Canva to create content for a portion of your slide and not the entire slide.

To use Canva in the MangoSigns slide editor, you can edit a existing slide, or a template. and in the Apps section on the left hand side, scroll down to the Canva app.

When you click the Canva icon under the apps on the left hand side of the editor, you will be given the option to select the Canva Design type based on the size of the content you are creating. You can select a Full Screen layout, or one of the many partial slide layouts. Once you select a layout type, the Canva editor will open up and allow you to select a template on the left hand side and edit it to insert to your slide.

For more information about the Canva integration, see here.

Our Brand Settings allow you to upload you own logos, and fonts so that your signs can match your brand. To set your Brand Settings, you can click on the gear icon in the upper right hand corner of your dashboard and click Settings . Your user must have permissions to Edit Company Settings to be able to upload or delete company logos or fonts.

Under Settings, you can find the Brand Settings under the Company Settings tab, allowing you to upload your own Brand Logo that will be replaced automatically in templates, as well as the ability to upload your own Fonts to be used in the MangoSigns Slide Editor.

To upload your Brand Logo, you can click the Upload Image button under the Brand Settings -> Brand logo section.

Templates that have a brand logo set within them, should now display your company logo that you have uploaded. See here for more information on Brand Logo.

To upload your own fonts that you own or are licensed to use, you can upload them to the Brand fonts section under your Brand Settings.

To upload your fonts, navigate to Brand Settings and under the Brand fonts section, click on the Upload Font button. From there you can upload a font from your computer to use in your content and slides within the MangoSigns editor.

Once the font has been uploaded, you will see it available in your list of fonts on your account under Brand Fonts. The Font will also now be available in the MangoSigns Slide Editor under the Text app, as well as in the Text settings in the font selection dropdown when highlight text in the slide editor. To delete a font, click on the trash can icon to the right of the font. See here for more information on Brand Fonts

To add an animated background to your signs, you can open the MangoSigns slide editor and find the Animated Background app on the left hand slide of the editor. When you click the Animated Background icon, you will see a list of all of the Animated Backgrounds currently available.

Once you click on the animated background and click the Plus button, the animated background will be inserted into your slides. You can adjust the colors within the animated background through the Settings panel in the MangoSigns slide editor.

Gradient Fonts

Now along with backgrounds, you can add gradient fonts to your slides and designs. Simply select the text that you would like to make gradient and open the Settings panel and you will see an option to add mutliple colors for a font which will create the gradient effect.
