In addition to using your own hardware, we offer an Android TV box, our MangoSign Box, as a convenience to customers that would like to purchase hardware with our player pre-installed.

Our current MangoSign Box runs on an Android 9.0 operating system and comes with the MangoSigns software pre-installed. The steps below will cover how to get your MangoSign box up and running in minutes.

Step 1: Unbox your MangoSign box.

It should come with:

  • 1 small form factor MangoSign Box(Android TV Box)

  • 1 remote control for the MangoSign Box

  • 1 HDMI cable that connects the MangoSign Box to your TV

  • 1 US Power Supply

Step 2: Connect your MangoSign Box to your TV

Connect the HDMI cable to the MangoSign box, then to the HDMI port on the TV

If you are using an Ethernet cable to provide internet to your MangoSign box, connect it to the Ethernet port on the MangoSign box and to your router or switch.

Connect the power supply to the MangoSign box, and plug the power supply into a power outlet. A surge protector is recommended to protect the power supply and the device.

Turn On the TV, and change the Input on the TV to the HDMI Input that the MangoSign player is plugged in to.

The MangoSign Box should boot and if connected to the internet already through Ethernet, it should begin a countdown and display a sign code when the countdown finishes.

Step 3: Connect your MangoSign Box to the Internet through WiFi

If your MangoSign Box is already connected to an Ethernet cable and has an internet connection, you can skip this step.

Once your MangoSign box finishes booting, you should see the player launch and prompt you to connect to the internet. You can use the remote to provided pointed at the front of the MangoSign box to click the connect button, and you should see a list of wireless networks available.

Select the wireless network you would like to connect to and enter the password for the wireless network using the MangoSign box remote.

Once connected to the wireless internet, you can click the back button on the remote and a countdown should now appear within the player.

Step 4: Linking the MangoSign box/player to your account

Once the player launches and you are connected to the internet, a countdown should appear. Once it finishes, you should be presented with a code. You can now log into your MangoSigns dashboard on your PC/Laptop or mobile device and under the My Signs section, click on the Add or Add Sign button.

You will be prompted to enter the code that is displaying on your TV, as well as to give the sign a name that will help you identify where the sign is located.

Then click on the add sign button and the sign should now be linked to your account.
