To get started using your Windows device as a player, you will want to install the MangoSigns Windows installer below. Simply download the installer below for your Windows 7, 8 or Windows 10 PC:

Windows Installer for 64bit (x64)

Windows Installer for 32bit (x86)

Once you download the zip file above, you can run the MangoSignPlayer.exe to install the Player on your PC.

Once the setup is complete, the application should launch. The player will also be added to your startup folder and will auto launch on startup. If it doesn't you can manually add the shortcut to your startup folder with the following steps:

Here are the instructions to do so:

In the search/run bar, enter the following location:

C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup

This should show the startup folder that you can click on to open.

Once the Startup folder is opened, you can either create a copy of the MangoSigns player shortcut on the dashboard to the Startup folder, or you can just drag the MangoSigns Player shortcut on the dashboard to the startup folder(this will remove it from the dashboard though).

Now your MangoSign player should automatically start when your computer boots up.

Once your MangoSign player is running, another application will be launched to monitor the sign player to make sure that it is always running, in case something were to close it. You should see an icon appear in your system tray by your clock. It will look like the following:

If you close the MangoSign player, this will relaunch it after a minute. To close the Application monitor so that it doesn't keep launching the MangoSign player, you can right click it and click - Close MangoSigns Watchdog

This should prevent the MangoSign player from launching again until the next time the application is started. Each time you launch the MangoSigns application, the application monitor will be started.

Once the sign player has launched, you should see a sign code that allows you to link the player to your account. If you press the Escape key, you will see a menu with some options, as well as an option to prevent the application from auto-launching on its own if it is shut down. For 24/7 signage, you will want to ensure that this option is checked.

Tips:

Set your PC to automatically log in, which will start your sign in case of a Windows Update or reboot:

Automatically logon without password

This is the easiest way to automatically login to Windows 10 without entering the password.

Step 1: First step is to open Run command box by simultaneously pressing Windows logo and R keys (Windows+R). In the Run dialog box, type Netplwiz and then press Enter key.

Step 2: In the resulting User Accounts dialog, select your user account first and then uncheck the option labelled Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer. Click Apply button to see Automatically sign in box.

Step 3: In the Automatically sign in dialog, type your password and then re-enter the password to confirm the same.

Finally, click OK button.

Troubleshooting:

The updated MangoSign player should prompt you to install prerequesites if you don't already have them installed at the beginning of the installation. If you skip them, you can download and install them manually below:

The Windows MangoSign Player install requires a few prerequisites to be installed on the PC. If the player does not launch once installed, please try installing the following below and reboot the PC then try and relaunch the player
