Put a beautiful, fully editable calendar on your screens. The Calendar app gives you a monthly grid or a weekly list that you type on directly — double-click any day and write your events, then style everything to match your brand.

This calendar is yours to fill in: it isn't connected to Google, Outlook, or any account, which makes it perfect for lunch menus, activity schedules, class timetables, event lineups, and anything else you plan by hand.

Adding a Calendar to a slide

  1. In the slide editor, open Apps and choose Calendar.

  2. Pick your options:

    • Month — January through December. The calendar lays out that month's days automatically.

    • View — Monthly or Weekly (see below).

    • Week of month — when using the Weekly view, choose which week (1–6) to display.

  3. Add it to the slide, then move and resize it like any other element.

You can change any of these later: select the calendar and open its settings.

Monthly grid or weekly list

Monthly shows the classic Sunday-to-Saturday grid — the whole month at a glance, with day names across the top and a numbered cell for each date.

Weekly shows one week as a vertical list, with the day name and date on the left and room for your event text beside each day. Days that belong to the neighboring month appear dimmed. This view gives each day much more writing room — ideal for daily menus or schedules with longer descriptions.

Typing your events

  1. Double-click any day on the calendar.

  2. Type your event text right in place.

  3. Click anywhere outside the day to finish.

To change an event later, double-click the same day and edit the text. To remove one, double-click and delete the text. When you're happy, save the slide — your events are stored with it and appear on your screens exactly as you typed them.

  • Keep entries short in the Monthly view — a few words per day reads best from a distance. Use the Weekly view when days need more detail.

  • Typing works in the slide editor only. On your screens the calendar simply displays what you saved.

Styling

The calendar is designed to be styled. With the element selected:

  • Event Text, Day Names, and Date Numbers each have their own font setting — change the typeface, size, weight, and color of each independently.

  • Background sets the calendar's fill color from the top bar.

  • Border, shadow, and corner radius work like any other element.

Good to know

  • Each calendar is independent. If you copy a slide or place a second calendar, its events are its own — perfect for keeping a separate calendar per location or per month.

  • A simple monthly routine: duplicate last month's slide, switch the Month setting, update the events, and swap it into your playlist. Your styling carries over automatically.

  • Nothing updates on its own. Because you type the events, the calendar never changes until you edit the slide — no surprises on screen.

Troubleshooting

Double-clicking doesn't let me type Make sure you're in the slide editor (typing is an editing feature — it's disabled during preview and playback), and double-click directly on the day cell you want to edit.

My events aren't showing on the screen Save the slide after editing, and make sure the updated slide is published to your screens. The calendar shows exactly what was saved.

The wrong days are showing Check the Month setting — and if you're using the Weekly view, check Week of month. Week 1 is the week containing the 1st of the month.

The text is too small to read from a distance Select the calendar and increase the Event Text font size — and consider the Weekly view, which gives each day far more space.

I want a calendar that updates from Google or Outlook This app is for calendars you write yourself. For screens that mirror a live calendar account, use our Google Calendar or Office 365 Calendar apps instead.
